Corrections & clarifications.

Published October 19, 2026

Accuracy includes being clear when the record changes. We review factual concerns and correct significant errors visibly.

Report an error

Use the “Submit a correction” link below the article, send a correction through our form, or email info@yyc24.ca. Include the article link or headline, the detail you believe is wrong, and supporting information or documents where available.

How we review a concern

Jay Morgan, Founder & Editor, is responsible for reviewing correction requests. We check the disputed information against the available evidence and seek further information where necessary. A disagreement with a story’s conclusions does not by itself establish a factual error. We do not promise a fixed response time or publication of every request.

How changes are labelled

Correction
A significant factual error in the published story. The dated notice explains the error and the corrected information.
Clarification
Wording or context has been made clearer without changing an established fact. The note explains the point being clarified.
Updated
New reporting or confirmed information has been added. A substantive update changes the visible update time; it does not reset the original publication time.
Earlier reporting
A retained report or video reflects what was known at the time. A visible note explains material developments and, where available, points readers to the latest coverage. If the earlier report contained an error, we also identify it as a correction.

Where notices appear

Significant corrections and clarifications appear on the affected article with a date and explanation. Small spelling, grammar and formatting fixes that do not alter meaning may be made without a separate notice. We preserve relevant context rather than silently replacing a materially inaccurate account.

When an error appears in a video or social post, we aim to correct it on the affected platform as well, using the available editing, description or notice features. Removal may sometimes be appropriate, but is not a substitute for acknowledging a significant error.
